Description:

Alison joined the Focused Psychological Interventions Program as a Psychologist in March 2006. She sees clients of the program on Tuesdays and Fridays in her private practice (she also works three days a week as a psychologist with the Canning Division of GP).
Alison has worked in generalist community counselling settings, as well as the specialist areas of sexual assault / abuse, trauma, and drugs and alcohol. With her background as a nurse, she also has interests in working from a psychological perspective with clients with somatic complaints, and clients with weight management difficulties.
