After 16 years as a school teacher, Damian changed his career and for the next 10 years provided much needed pastoral support for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Damian currently has a small private counselling / psychotherapy practice. From June 2004 he has been working as a sessional counsellor with couples for the Catholic Marriage Education Service and as well as with a Sexual Abuse Specialist Agency as a group facilitator working with perpetrators of sexual abuse.

Since July 2004 Damian has been working 4 days a week as the Senior Counsellor / Coordinator with the Palmerston Association based at their Mandurah Office.
