Description:
28 years of psychotherapy practice has provided experience with all kinds of people, with all kinds of issues. I am concerned to work in depth whether for a short or long time and to make a difference. I endeavour to suspend my own pre-conceptions about what is needed with a view to making contact with each client as an individual and learning from them what may be most to the point. The most effective therapies usually involve a paradox - that I am required to overcome my own ego-centric desire to be effective so that the client may realise their own capacities to make this experience work for themselves. I am more engaged by the creative challenge of this work as I go.
