Janelle is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar. She holds a BA (Honours) in Psychology and a Masters (Clinical ) Psychology from the University of Western Australia.Her work is about encouraging clients to become aware of and change repeated patterns of thought, emotion and behaviour so that they may become more fully involved in life. She values building a caring and supportive relationship with clients. Her approach is always tailored to meet the individual needs and issues of each client. She draws on a pool of therapeutic approaches including evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Supportive Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness based approaches. She works with individuals, couples and families and helps people struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, grief, stress, crisis and trauma (including childhood trauma and post-traumatic stress), relationship difficulties and self image/body image concerns.
