Description:

Kate Negoescu graduated from Murdoch University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Psychology. She then completed a Master of Psychology degree (Clinical) at the University of Western Australia in 2001; her thesis topic was the relationship between treatment outcomes and therapeutic alliance that is the therapist / patient relationship. Kate then worked in an inpatient facility (3years) where she ran inpatient and outpatient groups for adolescents and also outpatient groups for adults. She further assisted in the development and refinement of therapy programs and devised and conducted staff training for a multidisciplinary health team. Kate has written articles for the Medical Forum on Adolescent Suicide, PTSD, and Women's Body Image. She currently works in private practice and continues to see adolescents and also adults.
