Lara has worked in community services over 20 years including working in a range of capacities at a local government level with professionals and other community members to establish and maintain a range of community services.
Over the last five years Lara has developed her skills and knowledge providing psychological counselling by undertaking a masters degree in Counselling Psychology at Curtin University. Since working as a psychologist Lara has been involved in providing support to managers, employees and members of the wider community who are experiencing psychological challenges or difficulties. Some of the areas in which Lara has significant experience include stress management, mediation, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, alcohol and drug issues. She is also trained and experienced in the use of a range of psychological assessment tools.
