Description:
Dr Adams completed her psychiatric training in the United States of America and is a Diplomate of The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has been a member the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. For the last few years she has been working in private practice in Victoria and Western Australia.
Dr Adams has been practicing in general adult psychiatry with a special interest in long and short-term psychotherapy for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, treatment of trauma and relationship problems.
Dr Adams was a member of the Advisory Board of Deakin University’s Postgraduate Studies in Psychoanalysis Program.
