Wendy has been a registered Psychologist for 14 years having completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (Hons) degree, postgraduate study in clinical psychology and post graduate research into depression. She has a particular interest in providing evidenced-based psychological therapy for people experiencing low mood and depression. She has worked in a specialist mood disorders treatment unit (which is now part of the Black Dog Institute in Sydney) and assisted people in community mental health settings in metropolitan (Perth, Sydney) and regional areas (Great Southern, Central Wheatbelt, and South West regions of Western Australia).
Wendy is committed to using evidence-based psychological therapies including, but not limited to, cognitive behaviour therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and schema-focused therapy.
